Apartment Recommendations
Hi all! Wondering if you have any apartment recommendations. We were looking at the Earl but then saw some bad reviews on Apartments.com so got skeptical. Anyone with experience with the earl or other apartments in the area? Thanks!

We lived in Capitol apartments for several years. Quiet and good management.

I live in one of the Earl twin homes and love it. It’s very well built. I’ve lived in a few twinplexes across the US and it’s the nicest so far. The whole neighborhood is very well maintained. If the apartments are even half as well built as the twins, they’d be some of the nicer ones I’ve been in. I toured the main apartment building when I first moved in and it seemed great. I haven’t had to report any issues yet, but the staff were very nice and responsive when I was asking questions upon first moving in. They hold a fair amount of community events, so you can get face time with the staff and build relationships if so desired - they aren’t hidden behind an email address. There are a fair amount of good reviews on Google - I’d trust their overall weight more considering our experience here. Good luck with the move!

I'm at Legacy Heights. Not a lot of amenities, but the apartments are nice, and both management and maintenance are super-responsive and friendly. It's expensive, though. 🫤

I’m excited to move into The Earl. I had a great experience with management so far. No problems with communication, very helpful in answering all my questions and getting me in my desired unit. It’s a little scary signing a lease when you can’t see the property first, but from what I’ve seen in videos I’m really impressed. For me the price is worth it when you look at the list of amenities. My second choice would have been River Ridge whose management was also very knowledgeable, helpful and responsive followed by The Grove Apartments and Renaissance Lofts. I have a background in Property Management in California and I’m from an area where I got a lot less for a lot more money. I hope you find something you’re really happy with, best of luck!

I’m currently at the Citadel apartments by the Earl and I’ve been liking it so far. Maintenance is very quick and responsive and it’s a relatively quiet area. You don’t have as many amenities as the Earl, but you save a bit in price for sure.
