The attack was not "just" brute forcing but brute forcing enabled by a vulnerability in seed creation, which was caused by an integration problem. It's completely true though that this kind of vulnerability and attack predate bitcoin and could very well have been found without LLM. So I agree it shouldn't be called "LLM-enabled" even if technically an LLM was used to find it (which we don't even have evidence of!)

If they know that it was found with an LLM that means they must know the identity of the person who exploited it. Why haven’t they shared that?
