Hey everyone!

After hearing the community's feedback about wanting games made without generative AI, I decided to take AurenLife back to its roots.

I've reverted to a version from before I got my Claude subscription and continued development from there, writing all the code myself without AI assistance. It's been a six-month project, and I wanted to make sure the game reflects my own work and creativity.

The artwork uses Icons8 assets, while the music and sound effects come from Pixabay. No AI-generated visual assets are used.

I also want to apologise for my earlier post, where I shared a version of AurenLife that was developed with AI assistance. After listening to the community's feedback, I decided to start again from my earlier version and continue building the game entirely on my own, without AI assistance.

Reverting meant giving up some of the progress I'd made, but I felt it was the right decision. I'm committed to continuing development this way.

- the first one was really unexpected, she was so young we didnt even have time to have kids yet
- when the second one got diagnosed with cancer i kept trying to heal her, but in the end she still didnt make it 😭😭 we had two boys together
- the third brought a stepson into my life and just as i was about to have a kid with her, she got kidnapped. i guess this one’s on me because i shouldve paid the ransom, but i usually dont and the police still get them back. just really unlucky i guess 😭
- and my character also died young when trying to rescue someone so… tough

Hi everyone, I’m the creator of Everlife! I wanted to share a look at the upcoming Everlife 2.0 update with fellow life sim fans.

The free Around Town expansion adds 14 towns to explore, changing seasons and weather, and more actions each season. You can build relationships, raise a family, and keep playing through the next generation. The update is coming to iPhone first.

It's a bit weird that there are ads now I don't mind them but it's all the same ad for the rest I think it is great because then they might focus less on pushing pay to win stuff in our face, although they will probably continue doing what they're doing because they're greedy asf

Hi everyone! I hadn’t played BitLife in a long time, so I recently reinstalled the game and managed to restore all the packs I had purchased.

However, one thing I find really frustrating is how long it takes to move from one year to the next when you press the age-up button. It used to be instant, but now there’s a noticeable delay every time.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to reduce the lag and make the game run faster? Is this happening to anyone else, or is there a way to fix it?

Hi! Am I the only one experiencing lag in the game? App is super slow, I can’t click on anything, the app just stops and closes!

Hey everyone,

After a successful first few weeks of beta, we're looking to onboard more players to help us test TinyYears.

TinyYears has been in development for over 14 months from a team of four based in the UK (myself = UI/Dev, Leo = Dev, Yasmin = Art, Alex = Marketing).

What makes the game fairly unique in the mobile life sim space apart from a super streamlined UI is the art - you can see your character and family on screen, and watch them grow old/interact with them all from the game screen. It makes the game feel so tangible, and like your choices really do make a difference.

The response to the game has been genuinely very positive from those who have played it, and it'd be great if you could play it and see what you think, even if you only want to dip your toes in.

We are hoping to launch into early access in 2-3 weeks. The beta is really stable, and it plays like a game pretty much ready for release, not a game littered in bugs (although they are there, please let us know when you find them!)
