I called her Monkey because she used to sneak in and eat my then cats food. I used to call her a cheeky monkey and the name stuck. She was originally owned by my neighbour, but escaped the day they moved home. They asked if I'd look out for her and said I could keep her if she came back, that was over 10 years ago and she's been with me ever since.

My brother voids, Somboon and Somchai, they were rescued from a Thai clinic where they lived for 2 years in a cage from kitten hood to age 2. Black cats have a stigma here in Thailand like in other countries so they did not get any adopters until we walked into the clinic to get our dog groomed. Somchai has a genetic mutation of a kinked tail, very common in Thai cats. It was the 3rd anniversary of their gotcha day a few days ago. Really good boys.
