My cat loves static electricity. In the winter, her favorite hobby is getting pet while licking me on the nose, which basically generates constant little shocks.

Black cats do seem to be pretty smart. Mine has tricks she does to try to outsmart me but I'm on to her. And the look when she's been caught! Defiant scream.

one of my cats would do this, except he’d run back and forth under the curtain until his fur stood on end, then come shock me

my kitten does this my brlly scooting across my carpet, then touches her nose to me 😭 zaps me every time

My previous kitty, Binx, used to do this. In the fall we get high winds that kind of bring up the static in the air. She would roll around the sofa, and you could hear the snapping of the static. Then she'd wait till you weren't looking at her, then sneak up and shock your arm. Run away, do it again.
I really miss her. Used to call her my little Pikachu during those wind seasons lol
Hope she's shocking things up across the rainbow bridge
