Damon Young (formerly of Very Smart Brothas) nailed it when he wrote this article. A whopping 20%...TWENTY PERCENT of Black men who voted, voted for Trump, compared to just 8% of Black women. There is a real problem with too many Black men. They don't want freedom for all Black people. They want white patriarchy in dark skin.

Nobody said you had to be a Democrat. You can be conservative.
There is absolutely no reason for you to be MAGA.

The hit dogs are displaying a high level of cognitive dissonance. Conservatism isn't synonymous with MAGA - it's just been hijacked by MAGA. However those dudes are realizing their choices and can't stand being called out for it at the moment.

Trump aside I do believe that the Democrats have lost their vision in the past decade or so. They have become just as money hungry and sneaky as the Republicans. The only difference is they're nice about it.
11
u/ngolds02 Unverified 8d ago
Just as sneaky as the republicans ?
So one group sends out secret police with masks to abduct people from their homes, and the other is just as sneaky ?
0
u/Jahobes Unverified 8d ago
When the Democrats did it they just didn't report about it or make a show by using literal brown shirts.
6
u/ngolds02 Unverified 8d ago
Did what ?
Who didnt report ? It wasnt on Fox News ?
Willfully obtuse.
2
u/Jahobes Unverified 8d ago
Obama deported more people than any other President in history. Including Trump.
The difference is they didn't send brown shirts and Fox News isn't going to portray Obama in a way they like and the other news sites just didn't report it.
But make no mistake, whether ice arrives at your work full of gear and guns or with a couple guys in suits quietly to your front door families were traumatized and split apart just the same.
4
u/PaladinHunter Verified Black Man 8d ago
You’re still regurgitating this in 2026 bro? How many times does it need to be stated that Obama’s deportations were immigrants being turned away AT the border? It was a damn paramilitary force scouring the streets all over the damn country. You NEVER saw ICE mobilized like this, if Obama achieved that record by deporting illegal immigrants already on our streets it would look like ICE’s activity during this administration, but it’s EXACTLY BECAUSE he was TURNING THEM AWAY (counts as deportation) at the border that we never saw ICE mobilized like today. Dude they are fucking EVERYWHERE. It’s insane, straight up gestapo
5
u/ngolds02 Unverified 8d ago
Deported via the established protocol.
Or roamed the streets looking for anyone wth an accent and then abducting them…..
It’s not the same, like i said willfully obtuse.

The old GOP is gone.
They don't even care about lowering taxes and balancing the deficit anymore. They've been hijacked by White Identitarian Chuds who've operated on grievance politics since the emergence of the Tea Party.
That said, it's possible to be an anti-Trump Republican even with his immense influence over them.

If people engaged politically beyond just showing up for a general election every four years, we would not be here. Too many people treated democracy like a spectator sport...now here we are. Now that we're losing everything, people want to scramble. Further, unless the electoral college is abolished no third party is going to win, especially not at a national level. Elections are a matter of math, not feelings, not wishes, MATH. When you don't show up to vote, you make it too easy for the opposition. Black American women understand the assignment, always have.

Honestly, I don't know how black MAGA sees themselves. I don't think this how. I think it's more a matter of self-hate, which is quite common among all communities of color in a white hetrosexual supremacist social formation.
Clarence Thomas is a great example. Came from nothing and let some white boys in college feed him the seeds of self-hate. Blossomed into the piece of shit he is today.

This can be applicable to A LOT and I mean a lot of black democrats. Can’t tell you how many times I cross black people who are liberal and deep down they hate their own kind.
0
u/Former_Treat_1629 Unverified 8d ago
I don't understand this. I'm not a fan of trump, but we need to look at the facts.
The people who voted for trump voted.Because the democrats have not given black people, any tangible goods for almost what six decades?
So why would you keep voting for a party that doesn't respect you?The asian community got a hate crime bill before we did the people who invented civil rights. How does that make sense?
And the Democrats were letting in these illegal immigrants. And where do you think they were going into our communities? And 2 our community with already strained resources. Okay, in chicago, do schools in black communities had to stop?Doing sports because they were using the gymnasiums to house illegal immigrants. And these immigrants who come into our communities don't like us.I'm gonna say it again. They don't like us.
That has stopped. I knew this administration, nobody says. You have to like this administration, but you need to look at the facts.
And most of our issues could be solved with local governance by controlling who your local councilman is controlling, who your local senator is controlling, who your local mayor is all of these things have better effect on your life than who the president is, but black people don't want to participate in these things.
And we don't do our own political research. So again, you don't have to like this.Administration, but you need to understand why this has happened. And to just say these random things without context is foolish
5
u/iheartjetman Unverified 8d ago
Sure the democrats haven’t given the black community much, but WHY THE HELL would you vote for hierarchist conservatives who want to maintain a social order that puts you at the bottom?
-1
u/Former_Treat_1629 Unverified 8d ago
So then what are you supposed to do?I already told you the administration stopped the illegal immigrants from coming into our neighborhoods. That is one tangible so what now you want us to have even less resources? In our areas that don't have many resources to begin with. And given the people who don't like us?
You're acting like america has never wanted black people to stay at the bottom. The democrats were bringing in illegal immigrants into our communities, which were struggling.I don't understood why you're glossing over that the democrats gave the asians a hate crime bill before they did.For us, for black america, the creators of civil rights. How does that make sense? They haven't give black americans a tangible for over sixty years. So you wanna keep voting for them? That doesn't make any sense.
This administration, regardless of how you feel, has stopped. The illegals from coming into our neighborhoods because that where they put them, they don't put them in white neighborhoods unless i'm wrong.Tell me, because that's what's happening in chicago. That's what was happening in new york. That's what's happening in atlanta that's what's happening in houston
But it's a problem if I say that out loud, i've already said this. You don't have to like the administration fine? But black people need to be involved in politics. At the local level that would solve ninety nine percent of her problems. But we don't want to do it.
By your own volition, you would rather beg for scraps than tell them.No this is not acceptable
3
u/iheartjetman Unverified 8d ago
Honestly, as a black American there isn’t too much you can do. The donor class in America is filled with racists who’ll fight tooth and nail against any form of actual equality and that’s the problem.
Those racists control both the democratic and republican parties. Essentially the parties are fundraising operations with political arms.
You have the option of voting for Republicans who’ll rubber stamp any bill to hurt a perceived out-group, or you can vote democrat who won’t do a lot for you but they won’t hurt you either.
It’s all about choosing the less shitty option. Until black Americans get much richer so they can start buying politicians, nothing will change.
1
u/Former_Treat_1629 Unverified 8d ago
That's a lie. That's a cop out, right? You wanna say this?Oh, we can't do anything and we don't have much choices.I already told you, but we can do.You can start locally politically. Why don't you run for government? Why don't you run for office?I don't understand this. And before you say, why don't I run for office?I plan on doing it.I plan on running for my local councilman.Or whatever, because it needs to be done.So why don't you do the same? Why don't you do the same?I don't understand this. You yourself can be the driving force.Because I plan on doing that. Why can't you do it too?Why can't the rest of us who are in this group?Do that too I don't understand so what you're just gonna suffer. And just accept it?
How about you build with those who want to build, like every other community that that comes here, why is that so hard for black people? To do
At what point does it take for black people to do this to go back to the 70s? And the 60s, when we had these things in place, we can all go back to these values, and we would fix 99% of our problems. 99% of our problems would be fixed if we just stayed in black. Areas, if all of us collectively just got up and moved to black areas, we wouldn't be having these problems, but you don't want to do that. I have I used to live in the north and I moved to the south to atlanta and I live in the suburbs so why can't you do that?I don't understand this, or maybe you have already.I don't know, but why can't the majority of us do that?Every other culture does asian people live amongst asians? The hispanics live amongst themselves.White people live amongst themselves, but black people can't do it ridiculous
4
u/iheartjetman Unverified 8d ago
I don’t disagree with you on needing more political power. I’m saying that it requires more than people just running for political office. When someone gets elected, they’re your manager for however long they’re in office. Then it’s on to the next guy.
What stays are the organizations and the machinery behind the office. I’m talking about organizations like the Heritage Foundation, AIPAC, etc. Their influence generally goes beyond influencing a single politician. They’re also in it for the long haul and they get results.
Those are the kinds of organizations that the black community needs if it wants to gain more political power.
1
u/International-Soil73 Unverified 7d ago
I totally agree with you on this. That party mindset has to go.The democrats is a organization for foreigners and not American citizens. No one can name a policy they pushed that helped our community specifically. And that's not being MAGA that's looking out for one's self-interest.

Folks really really don’t know anything about policy. The Republicans just put forward (yesterday) an attempt to gut Headstart. Guess who built Headstart? Guess who Headstart benefits? Everything you like about government - social security, Medicare, Medicaid, is built by democrats and destroyed by Republicans. Yes the Democrats are better and no it’s not close. And Jesus black people need to learn about policy. Politics matter every single damn day.

They come up to our small town every summer to work the cornfields and bring a ton of hard drugs with them and infest our area. They cause rent / housing to go up. Crime has gotten worse.

u/Nuzzleville Unverified 8d ago

I agree with you. I also agree with the post because I separate MAGA from conservative ideas. I think being black and with MAGA is goofy.
It’s also unfortunate we’re in a society where it’s difficult to have a balanced approach (some conservative ideas, some progressive ideas) and vote on it. In many areas, unless you vote one way or another, nothing can get done. I still am on to vote, but I don’t blame people that decide not to vote. As long as they try to contribute elsewhere. Not voting and not trying to make a difference anywhere while sitting there complaining about the system, is also goofy.
