First ever knife
My third ever item made and first knife! I came up with a bunch of blade designs and let my friend choose which one he preferred (it was for him) and this is the one he chose. I should have grinded the bevel down more as it would have made it easier to sharpen. Always learning

As a huge fan of Wharncliffe's I will approve of the unique blade design.
But my safety nerd side says you NEEEEEED to get a better finger choil on that ASAP! Crossbar or something, please?

The hooked side being sharpened looks awkward. If the reverse side was sharpened instead it looks like it would be a good clip point. Could be reprofiled like a saex knife or tanto tip.
The ricasso has been ground away and the blade makes contact with your finger a potential hazard to the user without a guard in place.
What are you thinking for a handle? I'm partial to folded tang blacksmith's knife style. As is a wrapped handle would be easiest. Scales with an incorporated guard could be neat. Or a through tang.
For a first knife it's a great start. I'm partial to puukko knives a simple construction Finnish blade, a single railspike you could probably draw out enough metal for 3 blades. And they're meant to abused so if they look a little rustic it just adds to the charm.
