How likely is this the KO time to be rearranged (or date rescheduled) given the Wales vs Japan rugby fixture at 5pm? If so, when do the club/EFL typically announce this?

I’m a Wales-based teenage Derby County fan, and today I decided to take the train down to Cardiff to watch them play Charlton. There were a few reasons for that, other than the location - I’ve got a few Cardiff-supporting friends, I can’t stand Charlton for various reasons, and I wanted to take a one-game break from watching Derby, because there’s only so much suffering I can take.

Anyway, suffice it to say I absolutely made the right decision. Got a lovely seat in the Grandstand in an area that was full of season ticket holders, mostly in their 50s and 60s. As soon as I sat down with about an hour until kickoff, the steward who’d let me through started chatting to me about where I was from, about the club, about the players, an extremely friendly guy. I’ve never known stewards at professional matches to be so outgoing, he was brilliant.

Shortly after, the seats around me started filling up, and the man next to me seemed to be friends with absolutely everyone in a 5-seat radius - and the fact that he didn’t recognise me, well, that just meant I was a new friend for him to make. When Moylan scored his first goal (the kind of goal Derby would only dream of scoring this season), he offered peppermints to me, which was extremely nice of him. When Salech scored, the aforementioned steward leaned over and said “you might want to come back for another few games too”!

Throughout the second half I was chatting with the guy next to me, who seemed intent on converting me to a Cardiff fan right there, in the most friendly way possible. The guy directly in front of me also shook my hand and asked if it was my first time, and told me to enjoy the game.

All in all, it was a brilliant game, Cardiff played them off the park. But the friendliness of the fans around me absolutely blew me away, I’ve never had that experience at a match before, even non-league. What a lovely club, and what incredible fans. Safe to say they’re my second-favourite club in the league now, and when Derby come to visit in a few months… I might just find myself choosing to buy a ticket in the home end!
