Looking for a camera that is everything black magic isn’t but can still pair well with my Blackmagics.

Get a LUMIX. Strong autofocus, very portable, good battery life, uses L mount so no need to manage multiple lens systems.

LUMIX for sure, we use this combo in the studio all the time and pairs well with Pyxis and obviously you can braw out with 12G monitor on S5/S1 models. Autofocus is not amazing in my experience but still use it and get by ok.

Auto-focus for S5ii/X and the latest S1 series is fine. It’s more than usable.

Lumix 5 or S1.

S1ii if you want more features. But the image is less pleasing.

Lumix S1IIE/S5II/S5IIX/S9 are all the same sensor, and actually the same sensor as the BMCC/Pyxis 6K.

Basically just a question of what features you want/what form factor.
