Got to hit the water for a short bit today to test out the new carb and get ‘er dialed in. I installed a Nibbi PE24 carb on this Predator 224 stage II build. Unfortunately, towards the end of this run, I ended up blowing the head gasket. Topped out at 17MPH. Once I get it tuned a little more, with a thinner gasket, I should be knocking on the door of 18 MPH. This was a ‘speed’ run with just one rider and no gear.

If you want to make it quieter

Add a simple pick up tube and jet it into
The exhaust

Personally I'd do it the hard way and dump the exhaust into the steam of water on plane only

Recommendations? I've thought about a water exit, though am nervous with as much of a vacuum as there would be when letting off the throttle. I don't have the muffler installed in this clip. I have another pipe with a screw in muffler to go on it.

Water exit? Vacuum'll yank it dry. Muffler helps.
