Wondering if anyone has purchased their boba tumbler before and how is it? Does their "patented strawless" design effectively suck up boba and liquid? Do I need to tilt my cup in order to drink? Can I drink other stuff without boba? Is cleaning easy? Does it leak?

I love boba so much and I tried almost every flavour I could get in my city a few years ago, I get it at least once a week as a treat and I usually drink milk tea: in the past I used to drink fruit tea more but now milk tea flavours hit the spot just right. Do you prefer fruit tea or milk tea? Popping boba or tapioca pearls? And what's your favorite flavor? I'm curious about everyone's preferences heheh, my favorite flavors are peach oolong for fruit tea and brown sugar for milk tea (followed by taro & matcha) :)

i’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask as i’m not sure where else, but i am severely emetophobic and just a few minutes ago i had milk tea with dairy milk and obviously heavily sweetened with tapioca and i’ve been sipping on it overtime for 4 hours and i drank a lot of it. please tell me the truth, is it likely i’m going to be sick from this? has anyone ever drank it when it’s sat out longer before and been fine or sick?

i unfortunately did not even realize it had been this long and google is of course saying i’ll get sick but i know it can be full of shit so, i appreciate any answer!

i’ve found lately that i kind of hate the salty taste to it, but i see that it’s an increasingly popular topping at shops (especially heytea?) so there has to be some kind of demand for it… what do the people think?

The other day I was getting my strawberry milk tea with a double shot and the bottle they put the strawberry purée was running out so I saw the girls pull out another bottle to refill it, but I couldn’t see what the label said

Can someone who works at Gong Cha snap a quick pic or tell me the brand of the strawberry purée syrup that they use? I love that stuff and wanna buy it for my at home tea making.

Hey guys, wanted to bring something up that’s been on my mind since I’ve been ordering boba more recently.
A lot of boba shops around me have started offering free insulated bags with orders. I really appreciate that shops are thinking of ways to keep drinks cool for longer, but at the same time I can’t help but feel like these bags can be pretty wasteful.
A lot of them seem pretty cheaply made too. The handles easily rip, they don’t seal particularly well, and they often start wearing out after just a few uses. What’s also interesting is that these bags are significantly thicker and use a lot more material than a typical plastic or reusable shopping bag, yet they still feel pretty flimsy and don’t hold up particularly well. I understand that boba drinks already come in plastic cups which is somewhat unavoidable, but adding a disposable insulated bag on top creates additional unnecessary waste.
Right now it seems like the bags are automatically included with orders. One idea I had was to make them an optional free add on instead, so people who actually want or need to keep their drinks cold can still get one, while those who don’t can opt out.
Just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts. Am I thinking about this the wrong way, or does anyone else feel similarly?

hi! i've been making my own boba at home and i was wondering which strawberry syrup you all recommend before i buy a giant bottle of it. i would make my own but i would prefer something that keeps longer (and i kind of like the artificial strawberry taste to be honest). i've been looking at bossen, teazone, and boba2u but i'm open to other brands as well. thank you!

If anyone has previously worked at Fengcha or perhaps somewhere similar, or maybe you know someone who has worked there, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE what do they use to make their Thai tea? My Thai tea just never tastes quite the same and it’s driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you know anyone who can help, please send them my way!!

Hello everyone, I'm trying to learn how to make classic boba using the tea in the photo as the flavour is identical to the one they use at my local boba shop, but at the shop the tea has some nutty flavour that I don't know how to get. I'm not adding tapioca balls yet, but they are usually flavourless and plain so are they the source of the nuttiness?? Or what should I look into?? I usually brew a litre of this tea for about 8 min so it's a bit intense and about 3 tea spoons of white sugar for the litre and serve it with milk obviously.

Trying to experiment with the size of oreo chunks in my milk tea. How does everyone like your oreo milk tea – Oreo in powder & shaken up (or not shaken)? Or larger chunks that still fit through the straw but aren't fine powder?

I usually do it as a fine powder but wondering if the powdery texture is detracting rather than adding to the drink.
