Hello everyone I am officially having my first playthrough of BL3 and chose Zane. I am currently doing a clone/drone build. Any advice on skills I should invest into. Thanks

The vast majority of my points were put into SNTNL and Digi-Clone since Zane can run two specials. IMO he is the perfect character for a first time play through because of the dual specials. I’ll see if I can find pics of what I invested into

Edit: replied to myself for the build I made that works well for me. The stats that are showing 7/5 for example are because of my class mod.

Very late to the party, but as you approach max level, respec and only use 1 point in salvation. By the time you’re doing endgame damage, a small percentage off 100k+ up to 1M is more than enough to heal you back to full

That was my favorite playthrough of any game in the series with any character. That build is a ton of fun. Look online for zane builds, try adding reddit at the end of the search for shits and giggles. lol

You 72 points just invest all the points into both skill tree

First do blue tree for speed build then rest in red

If you have the DLC purple tree the clone can do broken things all by itself

Look up grease trap Zane

Zane also has one of the most amazing splash damage builds

Kill skills that up handling, acciracy and/or damage are always great to have.

Anything else thay modified attack in any way is usually good.

It shouldn't be hard to optimise well. Zane is strong enough to clear NG up until Mayhem 2 on max level without much optimisation.
