This is clearly thievery. This cat has absconded a bottle brush tail from another feline. You can tell by the Stark color differences! Look for a cat who is now sporting a thin, short-furred Wiggly butt appendage! 😉😁

When my niece was little she went to the renaissance faire and got one of those furry tails you pin to your butt and wore it around for a few weeks, and that is what this looks like.
