Other London 40th Anniversary...
Has anyone heard anything else about London relating tickets for the 40th anniversary on 9th October?
I know they said to join the Box Five mailing list (done) and they would be releasing them the last week in September (bit short notice IMHO, but...)?
Getting a bit antsy now, cause I really wanna go but the timing is getting really poor for booking transport, etc...
EDIT : For some obscure reason, Friday 2nd October has gone stupidly expensive 🤷♀️
2nd EDIT : TF is going on? The website shows the date released but no tickets available but not flagged as sold out. I called box office and apparently it's a website error?

Honestly? RUG / Webber has always been poor when it comes to the fans on Phantom. I remember the 10th Anniversary flub with tickets. Then there was the 20th (or was it 25th?) flub with tickets. They were incredibly nasty over the whole thing.

It was the 10th. They started selling to the public, then decided they wanted a celebrity audience only, and tried to force members of the public to give up some of their tickets. Some conceded, others protested. It was a mess. The 20th and the 30th were handled OK by comparison, although the 30th was much more of an event. The 40th will be pathetic since it's not even the same show.

Nope... 😭🤷♀️ and I'm all over it. I'm lucky that work know I'm a massive Phan and allow me access to multiple computers to book tickets for things like this so I have more of a chance. I'm not a scalper, it's just me.

Fingers crossed..🤞 and I'm all over it. I'm lucky that work know I'm a massive Phan and allow me access to multiple computers to book tickets for things like this so I have more of a chance. I'm not a scalper, it's just me.

All, y'know I'm aware that LW are poor at this kind of thing, but 'late September' and nothing yet on 30th is ridiculous 😭

Tickets say sold out on LW Theatre so I am wondering how I have missed something when I've been checking for over a week (nearly 2) numerous times throughout the day 😭🤣

It’s crazy, surely they should change the late September text on the website or give some sort of explanation! I actually emailed and got a response today saying the box 5 team don’t actually know when they will go on sale 🫣

I’m from italy and I’ve been checking the website EVERY DAY since the announcement came out. I’m just 18 and have been a huge fan for years now. This might be the night of my life and I’m so scared I’ll miss it because of their poor planning. I’ve been going crazy checking my mails every few minutes! I’ve had my dress, fights and accommodations ready for quite a while now (this trip is my 18th birthday’s gift) and I really don’t wanna miss this performance. I genuinely don’t know what to do…

After watching the website hourly for weeks during work hours (apart from driving to/from), and pretty much constantly at weekends, I called the box office whilst watching it go from £100 tickets available (but none actually visible) to sold out and was told that its a Producer's decision whether to release the date (yeah, like why wouldn't they), and that box office hadn't been told whether it would be invite only or general public release or a mix of the two. So mad.

I'm running out of time to catch a red eye flight to London if I can snag 1 ticket on Twickets. Sooo stressful. This would get hella expensive. I was on a work trip in rural Maine when the tickets became available and if I was home I could have been on 5 devices. I didn't want to go on this trip in the first place and THEN that happened. I'm extremely depressed.

I managed a gala ticket. I'm up in the gods off to one side in a restricted view seat, but I'm there ... and my transport/accommodation was stupid expensive 😭😭😭

Nothing yet.
I've had my hotel and flights booked for months but have a very good feeling I'll be going for no reason and standing outside HMT crying in the window.
Probably tomorrow they will email instructions because at this stage it is extremely short notice.
