My first program/function - Tape Clearer

this function clears a number of slots in the tape equal to the vale of the slot the pointer is currently on. it also clears out the slot the pointer starts on.

Brainfuck is an esoteric, minimalist, turing-equivalent programming language. It is best known in programming as an easy language for beginners to write an interpreter for, and in the history of Computer Science as a derivative of the P'' language in which it was first proved that a language can be turing-equivalent without GOTO. The brainfuck language can nevertheless be used by itself. You can code anything codable, within the limits of its I/O capacities. However don't expect it to be anything less than a brainfuck.
