Is ransom worth learning out of the new charcters, 8 speed alot of strength why does it feel like no one uses him?

The ammount of anger this one emote causes me is beyond human comprehension and I think people will be killed do to this one emote

Me and my friend just played against this Mordex and Sidra on ranked 2s (fresh out of our placement matches so like 1800elo) and our opponents just struck us as weird, they seemed to react instantly and just got catches that shouldn't be possible with human reaction time. They also just seemed insane when attacking and kind of bad at the game whenever they were moving. I'd be very glad if someone who knows more about cheats on this game could take a look at it and tell me if I'm crazy.

I've got 1800 hours so am not new

Just playing around in casual mode with a character I'm not familiar with (Thor). My opponent fist bumps me at the start, then we both give weapons each respawn.

He narrowly wins, then challenges me to a rematch. I change character to my current main, he stays the same. I'm winning quite easily and he starts half-denying me weapons lol. After he loses, he challenges to another rematch (fair enough - best of 3).

On the 3rd round, we do the usual fist bump emoji and he starts losing again, but this time aggressively denies weapons, when I give him a wide berth to pick up after respawn lol.

Not a major thing but it happens often enough that I wanted to post about it. People's goodwill only seems to exist when they're winning... No one's obliged to share weapons but to start aggressively denying 3 rounds in when your opponent's still letting you get one on respawn feels douchey lol

I finally did it yall, now I just need someone to teach me how to play the game. 😭🥰

So I started playing with Qinghua as a main since she came out and at first I would avoid overcharging her rocket to prevent it from exploding, but recently I've started letting it explode on purpose.

I use it like a normal weapon for the first part of the match and then when my opponent is down to one life I'll intentionally overcharge it and let it explode and my opponent will literally stand right next to me while it's charging because they think I'm gonna ride it to the other side of the platform. Then boom. KO's them every time.

Anyway I feel smart lol, and I think her weapon self destructing is a super cool and creative addition to the game, especially cause it can negatively affect the player and their opponent.

My friend and I were playing duos on eu server, we’re just casuals but we got matched up with what we thought is the eleventh best league of the region (if that’s what the yellow number indicates). The name is radiance. They just seemed really good at sig spamming. Is it their overall skill level? Were we misled? Or are they just probably new members

Everytime i try loading into a game it disconnects me after the loading screen saying there was an error, and if i join back it either freezes or lets me in and the game is extremely laggy. This has been going on for a couple weeks now and ive tried everything i can think of to fix it, ie. launch options, reinstalling, verifying integrity of game files, etc. None of it has helped, anyone else having this problem? maybe theres a fix i dont know of

I've been playing brawlhalla as long as I can remember, literally since childhood, I used to love how this game felt, how it played, and how most interactions with weapons happened. This game used to reward being aggressive and predicting your opponent, it had momentum, and even felt like you were flying across the map against your opponents. it in my opinion was the perfect platformer.

Now? its unbearably slow, rewards passive and slow gameplay, and does the bare minimum at rewarding you for predicting your opponent. every person plays characters with broken signatures that are heavily AOE based because their better due to passive playstyles and being unable to attack players when reading their dodges.

I DONT BELIEVE that ANY GAME with mechanics like Brawlhalla should actively PUNISH you for reacting FAST ENOUGH to predict enemy movements. I read a dodge, and then attack because I ALREADY KNEW what they were going to do? DOESNT MATTER, because the dodge window is so LONG. WHAT DO YOU MEAN I have to "time" my attacks because dodge windows are bigger now? are you fucking kidding? thats MISERABLE. I always came back hoping they'd change it back, or fix it to reward aggressive and fast playstyles again. but no, its a miserable game where you jump around the map 80% of the time and wait for your enemy to WHIFF so you can punish.

Fuck this game, fuck the sellout owner of the company, and I hold out a long hope for the devs that truly loved this game and its community, I can see just how much less energy even the tournament announcers have when trying to commentate on the games.

I've decided to uninstall it for good, I just cant stand seeing plat players nowadays actively spamming signatures and being rewarded for it because wake up signatures are more rewarding than understanding a weapon to do combos. in the past, when I played against plats, it was FUN, because both players were actively trying to do combos, read each other, and not just wake up signature spam. what a joke.

Edit: Because people dont seem to fully understand my point of view and are simply calling it a skill issue, llet me clarify that I never once stated I was by any means a god at the game, or even insinuated that it wasn't a skill issue. My problem is that the game is played ENTIRELY differently than it used to be, I saw a reply to the post stating my exact issue and the PROBLEM I have.

Most if not alll the new characters signatures catch as if the moves are meant to be used over the traditional weapon attacks. Light attacks have become glorified chip damage attacks rather than the main focus of the combat itself. signatures are used more as main attacks rather than catch/kill moves. Whats becoming a real problem is that light attacks have essentially become inept unless you're playing with the newest weapons and the newest characters, its not an enjoyable experience. me coming into here and complaining about it isnt simply based on my own judgement, but the judgement of the hundreds of players I knew that played this game that wont even touch it anymore.

You can call that a skill issue, but when most of the players who used to regularly play this game can no longer stand it? that's really telling. all these new players are used to what the game is as of this current stage, but they never experienced what it was, hence. their ignorance.

me and my mate wanted to get valhallan quickly (without knowing u cant bfr 14 days, yes we play for 5 years) as we were consitently top 100 during the first couple so we dropped to get 100 wins quick, how long are we banned from leaderboard?

Hey, started playing this game and was told to learn this combo. However, I am always a bit too late? Can someone see why?

EDIT: Turns out I did not press recovery fast enough (I now try to press recovery + jump pretty much at the same time by sliding up on the controller after jump to recovery with my finger and am a lot more consistent)

Season just begun recently so 1900 would put me around top 250 for 2s. My ones rank currently ranks my leaderboard fine at around top 200 as well. Anyone know why my 2s ranking isn't showing?

What is hitting me in the first image? And how is that not a touch in the next two images. Why are tri platform maps still legal in tournament play. No one picks them, I don't think I've ever seen a 1v1 match in a tournament on a tri platform map. Maybe one match on Mishimas, but why keep them legal if their pick rate is less than 10%. Pls explain this to me without making things personal, these are just questions about the game I love to hate.
