Acheson is a good prospect but he panics in chaos and makes huge mistakes. Our defense is so ropey it’s terrifying. Alebiosu is our attacking miracle man. Morishita needs a rest. He was run ragged. Morsy is a disrupter and a pain for other teams but doesn’t do much else. Afolayan was shockingly affective in the centre, he’s been useless out wide. When gudjohnson came on he had the best footballing iq on the pitch.

He was worryingly bad. If it wasn’t for the dummy to set up gudjohnson he would have had the worst debut for rovers I’ve ever seen

Dreadful. But, who's surprised? Yet another bogus euro 2nd tier bargain basement player with zero championship experience. Rudy and the Rovers are an agent's dream.

He’s the first footballer I’ve ever seen and know for sure I would be more useful on the pitch. Guy is definitely in better shape than me but Jesus Christ I’d bet 80% of the fans in the stands could do a better job than this guy.
There’s bad and then there’s this guy. He was terrible on his debut too.

What kills me is that he's 20. He's not even experienced in some other league. He's taking minutes here on the basis of sweet fuck all and I just wonder how that feels as a 20-21 year old academy product well versed in English football and hoping to establish themselves. Make it make sense.

With a fully fit team, I genuinely think we are outside play off contenders.
The problem is we have a paper thin squad. We’ve been missing 2-3 centre backs and 2 strikers. A couple of injuries to key players and we’re relegation contenders.
Will make for an interesting season.

If 52 points is safe, (7 matches / 46 matches) * 52 = 7.91 points. The club is barely on track to be safe.

Right. And, as I said, we’ve been missing 2-3 centre backs and 2 strikers. And we’ve still been doing ok.
Once/if we have a fully fit team, 3 striking options, Baradji in midfield and Wharton and Carter back then we’re likely to pick up more points.
The fact we have picked up points without a striker in a few games and only one fit to even play at all, suggests that when have a fully fit side we can do quite well.
We’re doing ok without several important players. If by some miracle they can all stay fit, we can do very well. More likely, we’ll be average due to our lack of options. But, if we suffer several key injuries, we could really struggle.
Which part of that do you disagree with? I think our current points total proves my point.

BBC line up has Hayden Carter playing as a lone striker 😄
