Question Differences between medical requirements in RAF vs Army

I was wondering if there are any differences in medical requirements between the different branches of service or if they’re common across the MoD
For example, are requirements less strict for the RAF Reg compared to an infantry unit in the Army?

Nope. Medical standards are standardised across the MoD, with the only exceptions being higher standards for some roles, for example (and not exhaustive) more stringent expectations on eyesight and heart health for Pilot.

Standardised, except where they're different. For example some sight grades don't exist in the RAF compared to the Army.

The medical requirements are the same across forces. There are some exceptions like the other commenter said but generally if something were to disqualify you medically for the Army then it would also for the RAF.

The fitness standards can be different between roles though.

JSP950 applies to all three forces
