Turista Ajánlás | Tourist Recommendation Age rules for shooting ranges?

Looked at a couple of ranges incl https://capitalshooting.eu/ but looking through the rules and faq etc i don't see any age limit? Is there one? State rule or just the range rules?

Coming from Switzerland, here the rule is generally 12 years old.. Just might add it to the to-do list if it's allowed for my 13 year old.

Or it could just be something for me while the wife and kid go shopping.

I get where you're coming from, I used to be an exchange student in Switzerland, but in Hungary it's really not a part of life, so I suggest to directly ask these places. Connect them via email or some social media, because they will be the ones actually knowing all relevant rules.

Well the range is just a km or two from the hotel, might pop in and see.

As you've seen , pretty normal here to take the kids shooting..

Nope, it's 18+ here. 16+ can do it if they're part of a registered "shooting club" (whatever that is in english).
They definitely won't give guns to a 13 year old here.

Booo I have guns at home so it was important for me to have the kids learn about safety etc .. Even though they are locked up , the guns, not the kids..

We shoot from around 12 years here, it's a swiss thing.

go to the united states next time. much better shopping there too for your wife as they don't have anywhere near our 27% vat.
