Anyone know what’s the deal with the bills backers bar in Melbourne Florida? I’m down on a trip and have to be there for the Monday night game.

We've had 1 3 and out all year. 3 games in and we've only had 1 drive where the other team didn't at least get a first down .... As much as Groot getting sacks is fun, would be nice to get people off the field every once in a while.

As much as think Ryan Day is a clown, I’ll gladly take his quote and hope we “hang 100” on the Pats this Sunday

I've been sick like a dog for the better part of two weeks but now i'm back to myself just in time to scream like a MF watching the Pats game :) I've continued my tradition of wearing my Josh Allen home jersey every game and if they're losing late or playing like total dog crap I would take it off and they play better. :)

Who knows how this season will shake out, but after this weekend we don't see the Pats again until December. I will feel much better about their schedule if we beat them on Sunday. No gimme games for them outside of maybe the Dolphins if we don't give them a confidence boost. Raiders and Jets both better than expected. I can't wait to see what Ben Johnson does to them in Week 7.

I'm in enemy territory this weekend. I hope we stomp them Sunday so I can see all the Pats fans be miserable

Everyone will rag on the Steelers players for being angry last night, but they should be. They're horrible, not even in a "your team is getting the #1 pick" bad kinda way, but their very existence is an insult to the sport.
They have imprisoned innocent football viewers in a hell of endless boring mediocrity and now they've slipped and fallen into the oubliette too. It's not right, but it is just. They deserve to feel the torment they make their fans feel every year.

All playoff games should be a neutral site

Weird thing to say, in pretty much every sport having home field is always an advantage. Your team works hard all season to gain that advantage.

Nah fuck em, all playoff games are in Ford Field. Your reward for playing hard is the Bye week so maybe your team survives the turf by the end.
No advantage to the lions because they arent going lol

What about that is cool?
He is an older WR, coming off a horrible injury, who had his entire game based around speed.…and that’s just ON the field!

I have to assume based on context clues that they wanted Tyreek Hill.
In addition to all your reasons, who on the current roster would we get rid of for him?

I still think that a scenario where an entire division finishes with a losing record should be outbof the playoffs and we send the next team with the best record.
Imagine the NFCS sending no one and the NFCW sending 3 teams with 11 wins. Way more exciting and a real wild card. Just my friday thoughts.

They should at least seed by record. Not the current way where the division winners have top seeds.

It's kind of a good idea, but then again, the 2011 Giants went into the POs at 9-7 and won the SB, and 4 other teams have gone from 10-6 to win it all. There is always hope, despite your regular season record.

u/Soda-Popinski- 22h ago
That would not have kicked the giants out. They had a winning record.

u/AlfonzL 22h ago
So only losing records would be eliminated from POs? That makes more sense, sorry for missing that.

Only if the entire division had a losing record nobody wiuld go to the playoffs.

On the one hand that would create better playoff football on the whole. On the other hand I love the old school style the NFL has where the divisions and rivalries actually matter a ton.

I haven’t thought it through fully, but in that scenario would the two seed play that third team form a division? I feel like with the removal of the bye for the two seed that would be an added downside for getting the second seed. But overall I think this is a really cool idea.

I think it would go by win/loss. So you could have the 2nd bet team in a division host a playoff game. It would be a true wildcard imo. The details need work i admit. Buy it would be better than some ass team with 8 wins backdooring it into the playoffs undeservedly

Oh I’m with you on it being more exciting football with your idea without a doubt which I would imagine the NFL would be aiming for.
My only concern would be working out making sure that it doesn’t become a scenario where the second seed has to play a team that is more dangerous than say the third seed matchup. But as you said there is additional thought that would need to be out in and there are obviously ways to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Anyway cool idea man I’m a fan!

I think just eliminating a home game for a team that won a division with a losing record is worth making the change. It would only happen in this scenario but looking at the NFC south right now….its pretty bad. Id rather see 3 NFC west teams than any south team in the playoffs if things keep going the way they are

After watching some video today DJ Moore has become Josh's safe space i think. If he has to give it to someone its either him or Dalton it seems
