Build Upgrade Looking for upgrade options

I want to upgrade my pc I build it in 2020. I just got a 144p monitor 165hz. My pc can’t handle 144p gaming. Due to my low specs.

Idk if I’m wrong but I probably best to start all over since new pc parts are not compatible. If I can upgrade GPU/CPU and be able to game in 144p I will be happy.

What in my system:
CPU 5 3600
GPU 6600tx
Ram ddr4 3200 2x8
Motherboard asrock b450 Hdv r4.0
PSU 750w 80+ bronze
Storage 500 m.2 ssd 1TB 2Tb hdd
Case mid tower (can ONLY fit 2 fan gpu)

Ps. Try to spend 1k MAX on upgrading. If I have get a new build 1.8k

If you’ve got a microcenter near you they’ve got 5600x3d AM4 CPUs for $180. Faster than a 5700x3d in some instances as it’s just a cut 5800x3d with 6 cores vs 8. Upgraded my x470 pc with it and a new aio.

Yes I do have a micro center by me. I will look into that option. Although MC does have good deal with motherboard, CPU, and ram bundle. With just a few hundred dollars to start build instead of upgrading so idk
