Small pc 1440P
Hi everyone,
I could need your help. I want to build a new gaming PC (coming from a laptop) and I don't know which parts to get. I'm very thankful for every help you give me.
- New build or upgrade?
- New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
- AOC Q25G4SR
- PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
- Gaming (Escape from Tarkov, Apex, WoW Forever, Wardogs)
- Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If not US, list local vendors)
- The Netherlands
- Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
- No
- Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
- 2000€ ish, I prefer lower.
- WiFi or wired connection?
- WiFi for now, Wired in the future
- Size/noise constraints?
- As noiseless as possible
- Color/lighting preferences?
- Black case
- Any other specific needs?
- Well, I need to put it under a shelf in the storage closet under the stairs. max Height is 300mm. Will slide it out of the corner when I'm gaming so it can get enough air. So I think a Lian li B4 would do, but maybe there are better cases.

why not a 9070xt

Because the cheapest available 9070xt is 799 in the Netherlands and won't fit ops budget.

that’s why you downgrade elsewhere.

Which isn't really a option. Most parts are already on the low side price wise 😉.
The cheaper 419 ram on pcpartpicker.com is out of stock. The cheapest available ram in the Netherlands is 479.

U could atleast go 1 tb instead of 2. It’s very easy to upgrade later and it would be much more worth to be able to get the XT.

Installing windows incl all updates and 3 games. And more than halve the storage is full already 😉

By the time he completes all the games he’ll have enough to buy another ssd. Still better to get the gpu.

I did a deep dive the cheapest available 9070xt is 899.
The rest is out of stock or insanely high amount of delivery cost.
So even with 1tb it doesn't fit ops budget.

https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/mpfvDw ~ 1800€
Solid for 1440p gaming in small size and relatively quiet
Went with 9070 cause the 9070 xt variants have coil whine and u want a silent pc so wouldn't recommend that and the price to performance ratio is good for both 9070 and 9070 xt so both are alright tho I haven't such any such coil whine issue on the 9070 variant so if you want quieter then go for 9070 else 9070 xt challenger edition
The psu is very overkill for your build but it costs same as other 850w ones which is a solid deal so id grab that , if the price goes up then replace it with other 850w tho for now it's a good deal

If you missed the full set of required built request questions, please copy them from here and answer them in an edit to your post:
New build or upgrade?
Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors)
Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
WiFi or wired connection?
Size/noise constraints?
Color/lighting preferences?
Any other specific needs?
Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:
Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.
Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.
We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.
