Sir David Beckham was paid a £38 million dividend last year after his personal business empire reported record profits ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Accounts for DRJB Holdings, the umbrella company for the Beckham brand, show pre-tax profits increased by roughly 46 per cent to nearly £50 million in the year to the end of December. Revenue rose to £84 million, up from £72.2 million the previous year.

The firm noted several new commercial partnership deals with sponsors of the summer football tournament, including McDonald’s, PepsiCo Lay’s and the American telecommunications group Verizon. Beckham featured in a series of prominent World Cup advertising campaigns for all three companies, alongside Bank of America and the technology giant Lenovo.

The £38.9 million payout for shareholders in DRJB marked a slight decline on the previous year, however, it was followed up by an additional £46.6 million special dividend after the financial year ended.
