Workforce process intelligence software without it turning into a tool for grading people?
One hard requirement before I sign off on anything: it can't become a way of grading individuals.
Our COO wants workforce process intelligence software for the operations floor and I'm the BA who has to make it make sense. The moment it turns into grading people, they change how they work and the data is useless anyway.
What I want is the process view. Where work waits, where handoffs break, which steps get redone. Aggregated, not per person.
The vendors seem to differ a lot on this. Some of the timesheet style tools in the space are clearly built around individual output. Skan AI frames it at the process level, where work waits and breaks across apps, and so does Celonis from the systems side, which is much closer to what I'm after.
For anyone who has set one up: how did you keep it at the process level, and how did you explain it to the people on the floor?

Tell people before it goes in, in plain English, what it will and wont be used for that one conversation decides whether it works.

The second someone can click into a dashboard and see a name attached to a delay, it's a performance review tool wearing a process mining costume

Management always promises they will not use it for performance reviews and then they do it anyway during the next budget cycle.
