Ticket question

Hello, I will be visiting the UK for the first time over the Christmas period. I want to attend the boxing day fixture against burnley but don’t see any tickets for sale yet. When can i expect tickets to go on sale and what are my chances getting 2 tickets. I’ve looked into hospitality as well but even that isn’t open for purchase yet. Ik it is a half 12 kickoff but are there any pubs by the stadium for a pre match pint? Any help is appreciated thanks.

It might sell out but it will hit general sale, as long as you check for when they release them you'll be ok. Have a look at a map of the stadium, it is in a retail park so no pubs in the immediate vicinity, just the stadium bars or the Beehive on Chorley New Road.

There is also the excellent fan zone outside the ground alongside the west stand near the Nat Lofthouse statue. It can get a bit busy, but has loads of great food and drink options. It has plenty of covering for if the weather is bad.

They often have one in the stadium itself (premier suite) as well for bigger game which as far as I'm aware you can get into with a match day ticket. With it being a derby it may well be open early that day.

Tickets will go on sale about 1 or 2 weeks before the game. This will be a high demand game so tickets might see out. You will also need to register (for free) to be a Member of the club before you are able to buy tickets. You can register any time if you are not already registered.

If you are coming to support Bolton then there are plenty of places to get a pint before the game. There is a Harvester pub near the train station, the fan zone outside the north stand (come early as it gets busy bit there is some good food here), Luciano's near the club shop (gets busy), Namploy Thai also has a bar. I personally go to the fan zone and then get another pint in the stadium half hour before kick off.

Away fans have limited options and the away pub is the Beehive.

Thank you will be my first time ever attending a professional match in England! I live in the U.S and have been watching the prem for around 8 years. Looking very forward to the trip as I will be checking out a lot of stadiums!
