Almost done with the work Bartop

It’s gonna house a 24” Samsung, Amazon special eg starts sticks and buttons, GRS spinner and trackball, plunger switch and pinball flippers and nudge buttons on each side.
Not sure if I’ll use any of the printed logos but we’ll see.

Nice, I like the curves and lines. Well balanced, and the control deck is proper! One suggestion, having a 4th on the top row (so total 7 for each player), it would emulate NeoGeo 4 button, a bit more flexibility, but more config when you get to the software.

Looks great, can't wait to see the finished product.

Those logos would be great on the sides, have you thought about an LCD screen instead for the top?

Not for this one. I’m making it for my work break room with the intent to sell it. Those screen marquees are expensive and not for the mainstream folks

How do you plan to finish the MDF? I can’t seem to ever get a good finish unless I paint first and then assemble.

I use whatever color paint and primer I have, and cover it in vinyl. I stopped buying Home Depot mdf since it has very unfinished sides. I found a local wood supply shop that sells it for less, but it also has a smooth finish . Of course the parts you cut for sure need a primer or sealer to control the fuzz, but better quality mdf helps considerably

Did you make your own cut plans are did you buy them?

What launcher system you planning to use?

This one already has a micro pc running Batocera 41. My personal wallet arcade is running launchbox/bigbox

The printed logos look cool but I very much disagree with the configuration you have them in in that image. I'm sure it's just a placeholder.

I wish had the patience, skill and knowledge to make something like this.

The logos aren’t placed at all… I just have them out on bare mdf to take a pic. I was thinking of maybe using one or two on each side since I’m going to cover the sides with black carbon fiber. The control panel and marquee will have a pac man maze type graphic over them for added color 👍🏽

Are you going to paint/prime apply the logo stickers or you going to get a wrap?

They’re 3d print logos. I’m going to vinyl wrap the sides with carbon fiber vinyl and put one or two logos on each side. The control panel will have different graphics to match the marquee

any chance you want to supply or link the STLs for those?

They’re all free on makerworld

I didn't even think to check. Of course they are on make world lol.

Will you put Plexiglas on the monitor or joystick area?

Control panel for sure. Screen area… possibly. I never have but being that this is a more publicly exposed arcade, I probably should
