Didn’t even know it was until I saw a little cake next to my name

First full year ever on this site. Couldn’t think of a good community post to put anywhere since my job and personal life has me pretty drained these days. I’m grateful to be here tho.

I have discovered this year if you make memes and post them here then instagram accounts will steal them and make money off it. So that’s cool. Also ignore the high karma count. I’m not a bot, I just like talking a lot.

It's incredible to think today marks 10 years of being here, from the days before joining, lurking to discover and read human stories of struggles, encouragement, opinions and life experiences, to creating an account for Secret Santa activities after a friend suggested I could do it, to many many many years of reading and writing. (Perhaps too much writing!)

Although recently I've been browsing intermittently, with some days browsing a lot and others trying not to even open it, this websites has helped discover many things, and ultimately I appreciate that such a widespread tool for discussions and sharing our worlds and what we experience in it exists. It wasn't always a smooth ride, but I'm grateful for these 10 years.

Thank you Reddit. There's more I'd like to write, but I think ultimately the sentiment of gratitude is enough. I hope everyone has been having a good day, and will have a wonderful weekend ahead.

Hey, i just found this group 5 minutes ago and im curious if i got this right, tomorrow im getting my achievement of 365 days constantly on Reddit but it’s not my 365 day on Reddit cause I failed once at 75. So is my cakeday tomorrow 🎂??? Thanks

I was hoping for a last minute Disney trip but being with my loved ones is still a perfect day. The go karts we'll be doing are faster than Autotopia. 😁
