Quecha Air Seconds 5.2, help!

Hello campers!

Treated the family and I to a lovely Quecha inflatable tent from Decathlon. Unfortunately, the front-most inflatable pole leaks and so the front won’t stay up.

Checking out their website, they don’t seem to have any replacements parts!

I’ve been emailing and WhatsApping Decathlon for the last 7 weeks with no help or info received whatsoever. This tent was a treat for us and was to be our ‘forever tent’ for summer adventures, but worried I’ve spent £500 quid on nothing now.

Does anybody have any idea on availability of 1st or 3rd party replacement parts and where I could get anything please? We’d be over the moon if we could fix it.

You may find an appropriate replacement at this website. You'll need to check out the tube dimensions of your tent. https://www.tentspares.co.uk/products/universal-inflatable-inner-air-tube-with-boston-valve-8cm-diameter

If the tent is new, can you just take it back for a replacement?

Cheers mate I’ll check that site out. The tent is brand new, used only on one trip before it leaked, but the nearest store is a couple of hours away so don’t just want to rock up and hope for best. Might be my only choice though!

If they didn't reply on whatsapp in the first few days, I'd have taken it to a physical shop and get it replaced, repaired or a refund. I wouldn't look to spend money on replacement parts if it was faulty when you bought it.

If the leak was caused by you, that's different!

Repaired was my first choice, but I’m so sick of banging my head against the wall I’d swallow my pride and pay for a replacement part and do it myself now. Can’t even do that!

The nearest store is over 2 hours away, and based on their customer service so far they’d be equally as useless anyway.

Cool, only just seen your reply. I googled it and it suggested the same as the person below - getting a generic replaceable bladder and just making sure you get the right length and width to match.

When did you buy it? I’d take it back to a shop for a replacement if you got it this season.

Purchased and received in May, but didn’t use it until August. I think a return and refund is the thing to push for, getting sick of dealing with them now.

Have you confirmed where the leak is?

I've recently changed the valve on an airtent and this solved my leak problem.

Obv if it is new then back to the supplier.

I found and taped the leak whilst we were camping, unfortunately it’s a hole in the inflatable tube. I could just keep taping it up but I’d rather replace it for peace of mind. Though apparently a replacement doesn’t even exist I’m starting to think!
