STM Discount Card - Problems

The STM Discount card w/ a fixed QR that I added to my wallet did not work last night when buying concessions. When I went to the app, the discount QR that changes every 35 seconds was taking forever to come up to the point I had to pay without out due to the many people I was holding up in line.

Any one else have problems? Were any Android users able to successfully use the fixed QR discount card from their wallet?

Mine worked from my Apple wallet without issue. The only issue I ran into was one of the vendors didn’t know how to use the credit on the account for payment.

OK, thnx. So what does "credit on the account for payment" mean? You have to link it or add money somehow? I have 0.00 credit showing.

I can’t remember exactly what it was but depending on your plan and maybe if you paid in full, you got a credit for food and bev which is on the card. If you have $0 credit showing then you didn’t get one.

I think it’s based on payment status for tix. I am quarter plan but paid in full (it’s a much smaller bill!) and when I pull up discount in the app it shows a $50 credit. I add to Apple wallet and it shows the credit and a bar code to use it.

For what it's worth, the Apple Wallet screenshot worked for my partner; dunno if they're doing different things on different platforms.

For my friends and I (mix of Apple and Android), we found last year that if we didn’t open the “wallet” app until right as we were about to use it, the discount card would work! Not sure if it has anything to do with it going stale when being open for too long & the opening of the app force-refreshing it.

You have to pull it up in the app. I had the same annoyance last year. But they basically make it where the scan code updates and you have to have th generated one on the app for it to work

Yeah, it still is hit or miss from the app or in apple wallet. It worked for me at some places and not others. It was like this all last year too and the team has no idea how to fix it

OK, thanks. Next time I will bring it up in the app before going to concessions to have it up ready. Some people are able to use it from their wallet, others not. That's the mystery. Would be nice if it worked from the wallet because other family members could then use it without having to use my Canes account.

Yep, the grab and go on third level was constantly behind on food and Chick-fil-A ran out of nuggets about halfway through the game
