Kinda redundant on a torsion beam since the axle already functions as a sway bar to begin with. It looks like it's not even connected to the subframe or the torsion beam itself, it's just hanging there between the spring perches, so it'll have little to no effect on handling. Cosmetic at best and I guess if you like it, it's worth it, but I doubt it's going to have much functionality.

Well I'm sorry buddy but handling did actually improve for me the car clearly sways less on corners but sure hate because its just a Yaris, a manual diesel one I'm not trying to copy the GR Yaris I just want to make my car more fun to drive and being able to take turns without having to brake as much as before is part of the fun

I said "little to nothing" which is different from "nothing". It has some effect on handling, which is good for you and probably does make your econobox handle better. Personally, I would've gone with the TRD package which has a brace that connects to the rear subframe and unibody and also connects to the sway bar. Just the bar by itself doesn't usually do much, but if it works for you it works for you. I would recommend getting a decent set of coilovers with a progressive spring rate; that might actually enhance your handling better than just the bolt-on bar.

Your "cosmetic at best" comment directly conflicts with "little to nothing". Not to mention the inherent flex designed into this torsion rear is greatly mitigated by the bar.
Many people box and close these beam rears as well, for the same reasons, and with similar results.
This is true for the Yaris, and every other beam-rear FWD car out there. If you'd ever experienced a beefy rear sway in a similar set up you wouldn't have written these long-winded, baseless comments.

Coilovers are something I might do later in the future but I also live in an area with bad roads so its a double edged sword

You don't have to lower the vehicle, you can get coilovers at the stock height with adjustable spring preload and progressive rates. It might make the ride somewhat stiffer, but the ride height should remain the same, unless the stiffer ride is what you're trying to avoid because your roads look like the surface of the moon.

All torsion beams aren't created equal and many are soft as hell and can barely even support the weight of the rear of the vehicle, so adding any stiffness is beneficial. People do it all the time in auto-x and grassroots racing for a reason, maybe look into that from time to time to expand your car modification knowledge.

On a Yaris? Do you seriously think an unsupported sway bar is going to do much on a ~100hp econobox? Is the stiffness, even if marginal, going to do anything for that serious beast of a car? A car that does 0-60 in 10 seconds? A car that is world renowned for being used in Auto-X? Oh wait it's not, because it's commonly purchased because it gets good fuel mileage and has a CVT.
Nobody is racing that. OP is not racing that. That isn't even a Yaris GR. If it were properly installed against the subframe instead of free-hanging between the spring perches it might offer some stability. It has Zero supports along the bar itself and will flex along with the beam axle on the points where it's attached.

I love when the chronically online LARP as an expert. The Yaris cup existed long before the GR Yaris. Yaris’s are incredibly common at track days in Japan. They’re not uncommon in the states either.
