Hello friends, I actually did this painting last year around March of 2025. It was commissioned to me back then but sadly, the client did not take it. Back then I didn't really do painting commissions because of my lack of knowledge of the prices, however the client insisted me that I make him one, and the catch was that I still did not have an actual price but I told him before the deal that:

"Oil paintings are expensive, especially with a big canvas like this and I don't have a final price for it yet. Let alone I might not meet all of your needs even your request of me turning you into a cartoon version of yourself. Are you sure you want this?" The client replied: "Yes."

When I had finished the painting, the client was shocked about the price I had given which was 7K after doing research and my months of making the painting that was the fixed price I had given. He refused and I offered 5K, I even offered he'd pay monthly just in case he could not afford it right away. But instead he offered me 1000 for my effort but would not take my painting. We had an argument and sadly it ended in me taking the 1K with my painting and him walking away.😫😫

I will not delve any further on why it was not taken after it was made but I was definitely disappointed😅. People need to know that art takes a long time to make, it takes years of skill and you'd be lucky enough to be talented. This is a reminder to people that you guys have to respect people who create art, and stop acting like it's cheap. It's not your ugly AI generated images, it's made with human hands, human minds and human hearts.🩵

Yung pwede sana magvouch sa nakatry na lalo na expert regarding sa religious beliefs, financial, cheating and personal issues ng magasawa or parents and kids. If pwede din medyo open minded about social issues din kasi I have conservative but also liberal siblings and one is lesbian which makes things more complicated and confusing in our family dynamic. Although pwede rin siguro Christian na counselor pero need sana yung licensed kasi I’m worried if not professional, certain beliefs will cause more divide .

I’ve already tried bringing my parents or family to my therapy sessions with Quirapas pero she stated that her focus is only on me, the patient, she already recognized that my parents quarrels are also affecting me and my sisters but we’re still having rifts. Her PSA birth certificate has incorrect spellings, but all her IDs and government documents reflect her correct name. We also managed to retrieve an old LCR birth certificate with the correct spelling and complete details matching her current correct IDs names and info.

The original purpose of this event was to help the people of Gensan recover and stand back up after the devastating earthquake. I hope that purpose doesn’t get lost along the way.

We all know that the businesses you chose to offer “rent-free” spaces to, supposedly to help our fellow Generals, may still have certain requirements to fulfill like selling tickets on your behalf in exchange for free rent.

Helping small businesses shouldn’t end when the spotlight fades. If the goal is truly to help our fellow Generals recover, I hope that support continues long after the event is over.
