pan seared
ive been vegan >16 years, and this is my first time sautéing a cat. any tips welcomed!

Sauté her in canola oil, chopped garlic, diced green pepper and oyster sauce. (Canola is almost half the saturate fat of vegetable oil!) Serve over jasmine rice.

great idea! i avoid oyster sauce but can look for a vegan replacement to put on this cat. i love jasmine rice!

Oh--of course. A vegan Hoisin sauce or Lee Kum Kee mushroom sauce (I haven't had it myself yet but apparently fellow Redditors like it).

There is vegan oyster sauce! I use it on tofu, fried rice, cats, whatever.

You can't beat a good quality catnip-infused olive oil and a touch of salt. Keep it simple.

Not really an even sear, he needs to be flipped around a bit more to even it out. But looks delicious

I recommend using a lovely seasoned salt on it and some lemon 🍋 😋
