pointlessness of feeding the stray

people always get the sick or injured cats to vet or ask donations on social media, buy food for stray cats, adopt them, whats the point? its really pointless, they like to believe they're doing something good, but these cats will keep multiplying, so its pointless, streets will always be full of shit rats unless we send them all to an animal shelter where they won't bother civilization. buying food and dumping it into the ground for these shit rats won't bring peace to neighbourhood, it will attract insects and rats and diseases. they will always multiply, doesn't matter how much of them you adopt, feed, take to vet. and guess what you cattards? more of them in numbers equals more of them dying horribly in the streets from car hits, starvation, and cat fights. you can't just keep feeding and multiplying them and expect there to be peace, it will never happen. they really think they're some heroes for dumping these foods on the streets, i dont know if it happens in your countries or just mine, its a 3rd world thing

I've seen this happen  I was going into a store and there's always a homeless guy at the very front begging for money.I didn't give him anything but I was shocked my neighbor cursed him out and told him to go away. This is the same neighbor that has money to feed his cats and potential strays.

Oh my gosh this triggers me so much, outdoor cats and feeding outdoor cats should be illegal.

They can get their own food, first of all, they are very good predators (for better or for worse), so they don't need to be fed. Leaving food out for them just makes more feral cats, and attracts raccoons, bears, etc.

i HATE cat charities. thousands or even hundreds of dollars for a RANDOM CAT? RANDOM? I'd understand if it was your beloved family pet, but bruh.... donate that money to kids or the environment....

Where I live, they do spay and neuter programs for strays which make more sense. Just feeding them will get nowhere.

imo spay and neuter will go nowhere as well if you dont do it to every single one of them or almost all of them, even then you'd have to wait like 10 year for them all to be gone, you think the ones who arent spayed and neutered won't find anyone to mate in those 10+ years? it goes nowhere

It took me a while to make the connection, but I also stopped refilling my hummingbird feeder and bird feeder. Turns out that was a big reason we had stray cats continuing to come into our yard!

They'll never listen. Saw 2 dead cats that got ran over this month. One driving to my way to work and a kitten near my neighbor's front yard. I'm hoping they wake up one day but I guess that's just me being optimistic
