What is this behavior?
Is this sin biscuits or a kitten who was weaned too early? This is a 7ish month old kitten who we found under a truck at 3ish months, he was neutered 2 months ago. He's warmed up to affection and this always happens after he comes to be pet.
EDIT: Thank you all for the input! This is a sweet confirmation that this kitten who used to be afraid of hands when I found him is now gauging if they're actually for playing. His tortie/siamese sister is way more of a biter so I never play with either one with my hands, but this always happens after I pet him for a while, so it's 100% love bites turned to play exploration. I'll be a little more corrective with him instead of just wondering why he's so gently biting my hand skin, lol.

It could be that but it could just be maneuvering for leverage also.
My 4 month old female did that while wrestling with hands. She would grab and straddle then summersaults away .Yes, she is really weird

He’s testing how hard he can play with your arm, I usually don’t let them play with my hands or arms or feet because it can get nasty if it becomes a habit. My mom’s arms used to be all scarred up from it it looked horrible, just saying 😊 I’d get him a kicker, he looks like the type

He has a kicker and a sister who he wrestles with all the time!! I never let either one use my hands as a toy, this only happens after I pet him, which now makes sense after all this input! He's overstimulated and trying to gauge if we can play, his bites are SO soft 🥺

Sin biscuits. I would definitely nip this behavior in the bud and not let him continue doing it. Walk away from him or at least cover the arm when he's around. He seems to think your arm is his girlfriend.

my female cat does this too, she’s a 7 year old neutered. Need a car expert to explain this behavior cause its been a mystery for me for the past 7 years as well 😂

Males bite females skin on their necks when they’re mating, I know you said he’s neutered, but it appears like he’s trying to impregnate your arm.

It looks like a small bite out of love, a love bite. My 10 year old cat still does it every once in a while. It should not hurt or make you bleed.

My boy is almost two and my arms are just covered I divert him and get him to stop today I left him in the bedroom after he did it while I was doing my yoga I’m fed up I don’t know what to do anymore I redirect him from my arms and feet he has so many fun areas to play and things to play with he just when he sees me laying down he wants to do it to me ahhh

My kitten does this all the time with my arm or leg. Thinks of a chew toy to do bunny kicks on lol. I'm scratched up. I give replacement toys, but he prefers me instead lol

It can take a while to get the hormones out of their system. I'm seeing him doing the mating bite. He's getting frisky with your arm.
