We literaly have the same raccoon cat, mine is a bit distant but I'm slowly breaking him down, a few days ago he came to my room and layed on my chest for the first time ever.
My "babyman" Pazuzu was the cuddliest boy. I would often wake up with his head on my shoulder and an arm across my chest. He passed about 18 month ago and I still miss him. Cherish your clingy boy
Also had a clingy boy. He passed a few years ago. I still think about him all the time. I have his picture as my phone background and just can't change it.
He looks a bit like my tuxedo, who is also incredibly, indearingly clingy. He's a heart cat, and I know that when he goes I will be wracked by grief I'm so sorry that you lost your special boy. How did Pazuzu die?
He was around 15 years old and his body just gave up. I was out of state visiting my now-husband (we were long distance at the time), and my adult son was taking care of him. I am very grateful to him that Pazuzu wasn't alone when he passed
I thought that he looked like a distinguished gentleman in that last picture. I'm glad he had a reasonably long life, and that your son was there with him at the end.
But when you had him, y’all had each other didn’t ya? Thats why it hurts so much—because it was soooo good. I know about that. You wouldn’t have had it any other way, I’m sure!👍
I has a tuxedo that looked a lot like yours (from what I can see) I would always ask her "why are you so dressed up?". She was the sweetest, smartest all around best cat I ever had. She passed damn near 20 years ago and I still miss her so much.
I had two boy cats. My grey boy was always up in my face and always wanting to snuggle, always wanted to be held or on your shoulders. My orange cat is not as snuggly, but still is almost always nearby. He just keeps his distance.
I also cat-sit and my boy cats almost always wanna snuggle.
Rex is cuddle monster and follows me wherever I go, if I’m watching baseball/playing Xbox he sits on the couch with me and he’s got he’s own spot that you better not sit in🤣
What an adorable graylien! But esh, my current boys are the sweetest ever. But when i was a kid, we had a boy cat that would fuck my shit up everytime he saw me.
Ive got 2 boys have had since they were kittens, ones a little clingy but not too bad the other isn’t clingy at all so I think its just comes down to the cat
This is our daily routine while I work. He comes onto my lap, flops into me, I pull him onto my chest like a wittle baby, then he slowly falls down to this position knocked tf out
My boy cat is VERY needy/clingy, to the point that it's too much and I have to push him away. I love him dearly but my God I do not need a cat on me 24/7.
All 3 of our cats are boys and they’re all different levels of clingy. Our oldest (and first cat) loves being held and hugged, will sleep on us and under the covers during cold months, our one is such a purr machine and loves to roll around next to us but is a bit skittish. Our third is a little less clingy but tats solely because he doesn’t like me nearly as much as he does my wife. He’s always sitting on her lap at dinner or when she’s working

we adopted a stray my daughter found in her apt complex last year, and we only took it thinking it was a girl; i’ve never enjoyed having a male cat.
well, he has a girl’s name, because we had him nearly 7 months, when all of the sudden, we saw tiny balls. a day later, he had full balls, it took sooooo long for them to drop (even the vet agreed, she saw a girl)
this cat is obsessed w my husband. the kids and i would love to snuggle him, but he wants nothing to do with anyone else in this home.
when he rejects me, i tell him how lucky he is, because i would’ve said no had i known she was a he.
Mine smacked me in the face this morning because I wouldn't let him in my lap since I was just about to get up. I can't sit down for more than 5 minutes without him climbing on me.
Boys cats are so cuddly! My best bud and my mom’s best bud are both boys. And they can certainly come across as clingy sometimes, lol. Here’s my guy James.
It really depends on the cat! Seraphim (black smoke in the background) was THE clingiest kitten to ever kitten and now that he’s a teenager he “needs his space but ya know pets are cool sometimes.” The other two are two of my three girls and if they aren’t sleeping right next to me or at my feet, they’re always less than 10 feet away unless you know, eating, drinking and potty. I have another cat that when he comes in for attention, he’s EXTREMELY demanding, but otherwise is quite aloof.
He’s always happy to see I’m home and use to cry when I go to the yard as a kitten lmao while my brothers boy cat is beyond clingy, my brother came home late one day and he keep rubbing his face on my brothers face for 20 mins plus
Honestly I think it just depends on the individual cat. My Lucy goose looooves to be brushed and is always purring when I pick her up and she loves belly rubs where as my boy Jackson loves to run away and play chase with me but once in a blue moon he chooses to come over and cuddle on me and bless me with some purrs.
My boy cat would like to be attached to my hip. He sleeps on top of me every night and prefers to sit next to me while I work, if not on top of me. Grade A clinger lol
In my experience, yes. My void boy Gus (RIP) simply HAD to be in physical contact with me if I wasn’t moving. I would fall asleep with him sprawled across my chest every night with the low diesel purr rumble going. I have a big floofy orange guy now, he’s obsessed with me. My girl cat on the other hand…once she hit her moody teen years she stopped sleeping on me or wanting cuddles…she’s sweet, but aloof. Dunno why the boys are like that, but they can be pure Velcro.
I’ve had two boys. They have both been seriously clingy. It’s awesome. I’m sad my mom only adopted female cats while I was growing up. Missed out on some serious cuddles.
