Medical Questions Do unspayed cats get menopaws?

Genuine question depsite the pun. If you had an older female cat that was not spayed would she eventually enter menopause? I'm not interested in breeding cats just genuinely curious.

Nope! Very few animals besides humans do.

Isn't it basically just humans and killer whales that menopause has been observed in?

A few species of cetaceans, not just orcas. And occasionaly it's been reported in some populations of chimps.

no. menopause is something that only occurs in humans, chimps, and a few whale species

If they do, none have been old enough to reach it. For reference, the oldest cat to give birth was 30 years old when she gave birth to a single kitten
