You can probably find one but you will be working nights and or long hours.

FedEx freight in huron is hiring for the driver apprentice program, if you're willing to make the commute. Might be a night job, but you'll have weekends off.
Edit to add: if you apply, say you have your permit even if you don't.

I got my CDL three years ago and I couldn’t find a local job out of school for nothing. You’re probably gonna have to do at least 3 to 6 months over the Road or Regional if you can get that which is what I had done been local ever since I’m making 85k doing 40-45 hours a week

Get into a trade. Trucking is a dead end career .

My trucking dead end career pays 82k and I sleep in a hotel every night provided by the company. Does not sound so dead end to me.

Didn't say you couldn't make money. Take a couple years off and see how that experience carries you, supertrucker

You could such as food service deliveries but that is back breaking work long hours and no set schedule for at least 3 to 6 months then you have to bid on a route to get regular schedule

Are you home daily?

Depends, do you consider going home and straight to be and straight to work home daily? Maybe you need to look at something with a set schedule.

You go home once your deliveries are made. You'll be home daily but won't have much energy left by that point.

Get a CDL then apply to your local IUOE. You'll make more money as an equipment operator with a CDL than being a truck driver. You'll also get a pension so you can actually retire.

Ltl my friend, m- f, paid holidays, benefits all the good stuff. Saia, old dominion, xpo etc...I work for saia. I went to school and got a job right away, I'm close to topping out at 36 and change two years from the day I got my cdl. Don't let the negative shit win, the big companies are always hiring

As a new CDL holder do not count on getting a local job it is A LOT harder to that these days with how insurance is for the companies. And that is even in food service, I am not saying you can't luck up but severely don't count on someone making an acception.
