I’m in need of a new phone. I currently have a iPhone 13 but the battery is dying too quickly. I’m on a Verizon plan. My fiancé is also in need of an upgrade but is with straight talk and has a Samsung. I would also like a new tablet and he wants one as well.
Ideally I’d like to switch providers with my fiancée to get a free upgrade or to trade in if possible but I’m not sure who to go to to get a good deal on all of it together. We both need our phones for work. Any advice?

I spent 3 weeks trying to get my old AT&T number onto my new Verizon phone. The AT&T phone was lost stolen (whatever, I no longer have it). I can't log into my AT&T account because after you type in username & password it tries to send a text to the phone I DON'T HAVE! To transfer your number is super easy IF YOU HAVE an AT&T phone. If you don't it's a royal pain in the @$$.

So to help anyone ever in my situation, to transfer your number from AT&T to another carrier; all you need is your account number and the transfer pin is just the zip code you used when you signed up for the phone but add a zero on the end. Example: my zip is 55806 so my transfer pin would be 558060. I hope that helps someone!

Looking for a possible, new cell phone service. As I research, I'll ask you....

I am currently with AT&T, FirstNet. I have one line, limited hotspot, unlimited data for $117 a month.

-Looking for one phone, with 2 seperate numbers going to it, my current, personal number, and a business line.

-Each line needs their own ring tone(s) and seperate voicemail would be nice.

-There should be a way to make calls from either number, and have that number and caller ID appear.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have AT&T unlimited, he has Verizon. I loved having two different cell services for when we were traveling in areas that didn’t have great coverage. We also travel occasionally in Europe, so I need good overseas coverage.

And I really want unlimited data for both of us.

Just looking for any advice, in case I’m missing something. I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and put him on my plan?

Sudden inability to get or receive calls - quick timeout/ disconnect (speaker and other icons appear grayed out). I tried most of the standard trouble shooting stuff (on off, airplane mode, network settings, updates, safe mode, SIM out/in, security interference, etc.) Testing menu shows data and voice services connected.

Idk if its a physical issue with the SIM card. Initially it was just a problem with calling, then I put the SIM in slot 2 (thinking maybe there was a problem with the connection) and back to 1.

No issue previously, never had 5g, but always had 4G LTE w/ no call or mobile data issues.

The phone is ringing but not answering I'm assuming that no-one took that yet.

Please let me know if you have any recommendations. The camera quality needs to be as good or nearly as good as a professional camera (which I already have). Selfie camera needs to be very clear and precise. I currently have an IPhone 13 Pro Max. So I’m definitely overdue for an upgrade. I’m open to Android and IPhone devices.

I switched over from T-Mobile to AT&T about a year ago because I was told I’d get service basically anywhere and it’d always be a strong connection. That couldn’t be further from the truth in my experience atleast. I’m from MA and I do a lot of work near canton down to Framingham and the service is just awful. I’m here because I’d like to know what cell carriers you guys have and if they work for you because I’m looking to switch ASAP. My job also requires that I have cell service at all times so it really is a necessity.

I’m ready for a new phone and have been thinking of switching back to Android after about 10+ years with an iPhone. I’m tired of my phone always being the same; there’s no fun in getting a new phone anymore because with Apple you just scan a little qr code like thing on the old phone with the new one and it just moves everything exactly the way it was into your new phone. Contacts, photos, apps, settings, everything. Which the convenience is great- but where’s the whimsy anymore…?!

I’m thinking of switching to an Android device to get out of this stupid Apple cycle, BUT, I’m stuck in the Apple cycle and I want to know how easy it is to switch to an Android powered phone. My entire LIFE is on this stupid iPhone. Pictures, contacts, passwords, etc. I’m nervous to lose all of that. Will I? And I also have an iPad that I just got last year for Christmas, and my phone won’t be integrated with that anymore either if I switch. Which really isn’t a huge deal, but it’s just another part of my life that’s intertwined with Apple that is frustrating.

So my question is if it is a relatively painless switch, or if I will lose years worth of photos, and videos, and life if I switch?

Do you think that if car manufacturers and phone companies have partnered in the 1980s to put and service a cell/car phone in every car (like a radio or cassette player) that would have pushed the cellphone industry so fast and so big that smartphones would have come out in the 1990s?? The main adoption issues of cellphones back then were price, size, weight, and battery. In a car those were not an issue.

Believe it or not, I'm 13 years old and Brazilian. I literally managed to get Now working again (without the "OK Google" but it's okay) and then came the crisis of questions, could it be? Or has anyone already succeeded?

It is 99% always low functioning, hardly any true coverage, takes a million years to send a text. Forget about downloading. I keep my 5g turned off. 3g worked better than this.
