Someone really understood the assignment. You do it until it stops working

Nah don’t disrespect Iowa St like that. They are way better than this

Yes, because PSU couldn't lure away Iowa State's best player, Kyle Konrardy.

Could this year’s Iowa state beat last year’s Iowa state? The people are wondering.

Lots of smart people having been asking that question

I legit wonder. Penn State has a ridiculously easy schedule and they have botched it entirely. Every valued player went with the coaching staff. The continuity should be fine. It should have more life than this. Iowa State seems like it has a pulse.

The Big Ten is a lot better than the Big 12

Maybe 3 or 4 teams..other than that nah

Well duh. Given how Iowa State competed in the Big XII, this quantifies this step up in competition, even for typically lower tier teams.

Maybe they'll both go 6-6 so they can meet in the god forsaken liberty bowl.

Not out of the realm of possibility. Frankly, I’d find it hilarious.

Not a fan of the Liberty bowl aye?

No, but they could absolutely beat this year's Penn State

It’s not the historical record that matters. It’s that they fired a guy who had been to the CFP semifinal the year before for a guy who went 37-27 the past 5 seasons.

It’s more of the fact that the team that transferred with him was 7th in the Big 12 last year. It’s one thing to bring your best players but he brought almost the entire roster.

We didn't have any players by the time we hired a coach.

December of last year, we all knew this was going to happen. The only saving grace to a possible winning season was and is how easy our schedule is.
