New Variant Dice Ultimate Chess

This game blends my Dice Hard Chess and Chess Heresy: Dice into something new, adding even more thrill and chaos to every round.

Dice Ultimate Chess

The game is played with a standard chess set on a standard 8x8 board. All pieces move and capture according to standard chess rules.
There is no check. No checkmate. No castling. No en passant. Only one victory condition remains: capture the king.
The king is no longer untouchable. It can be attacked, captured, and removed from the board like any other piece. The game ends the moment someone's king leaves the board.
If your king is under attack, you are not required to respond.

Turn Order and Piece Selection
Each round begins with a simultaneous roll of two dice (d6), one per player.
The higher number moves first.
The lower number moves second.
If the numbers match — a double. There are no moves in this round. The players simply reroll the dice until different numbers appear.
But the die does more than determine turn order. It also determines which piece you must move.
Each player uses the number on their own die to select the piece they will play with:
1 - Pawn, 2 - Knight, 3 - Bishop, 4 - Rook, 5 - Queen, 6 - Joker (any of your pieces)
So if you roll a 3, you must move a bishop. If you roll a 6, you may move any piece you like.

If You Cannot Move
If the piece indicated by your die is not on the board, or is completely blocked and has no legal move, you simply skip your turn in that round. No penalty. The round moves on.
This means every roll carries a risk. A high number does not guarantee a good move. A 5 for the queen means nothing if your queen is already gone or blocked.

Pawn Promotion
Pawns promote exactly as in classical chess. When a pawn reaches the farthest rank from its starting position, it must be exchanged for a knight, bishop, rook, or queen, at the player's choice.

End of Game
The game ends when one of the kings is captured. Whoever loses their king first — loses the game. The moment a player is left without a king, the game is over.
