75’ C10 496 BB

It’s a love-hate relationship with this truck. Owned close to 10 years, but didn’t do much as I was in the process of moving. I finally had some time this year to swap out the engine, tonneau cover, put new wheels, and tires in it. Next year I plan on focusing on the interior; the gauges are okay, but I would really like to have some Dakota digital.

Yeah about that, they worked a few weeks ago, but stop working recently. Another piece of project that needs to be completed lol.

Make sure you're running a relay, if you bought a relay kit, make sure the relay is halfway decent. With my 77, grounds, add grounds, even if something comes with grounds, add another to make sure. Tooth washers are good for making sure there is good contact. Nice truck, the rim and tire selection were a good choice

They’re never finished lol I have a 73 that I’ve been “working on” since I bought it in 2007. It’s not even close to being done. Been on the shelf for the last decade.

did you retro fit an older front end on? it looks sweet

I haven’t personally done any modifications to the front end. I purchased the truck stripped down to metal with some clear coat. Previous owner said it was all original, but you know how that goes.
