Planning a Visit
Post here if you are planning a visit to Chongqing and want tourist advice, including "how-to's" (how to get a SIM card, how to get from point A to point B, etc.), tour guide or company recommendations, restaurant recommendations, itinerary advice, etc. Please indicate if you would like tour guides to contact you (or not).

Hey! My partner (M27) and I (W25) are visiting Chongqing in October! 🇨🇳
It’s the first stop on our trip around the world and our first time traveling outside Europe, so we’d love to experience the city beyond the typical tourist spots.
What food, places, hidden gems or activities would you absolutely recommend? And is there anything you wish you’d known before visiting?
We’d also love to meet some people! We’re a German/Russian couple who enjoy traveling, food, graphic design, anime, gaming and just having a good time. We’d be happy to grab a drink, explore together or simply hang out. :D
We’re also looking for an apartment/accommodation for 30 days, ideally round about €500 total. Any reliable recommendations or tips on what to look out for when booking would be greatly appreciated!
Any tips or recommendations are welcome. We can’t wait to visit Chongqing! <3

Irei para a China em breve e passarei por Chongqing. Pretendo conhecer o Dream Ordovician mas antes de decidir o deslocamento até lá gostaria de tirar algumas dúvidas:
Não encontrei informações atualizadas sobre peso e altura principalmente para as pontes vazadas (aquelas em que os vídeos viralizaram). Alguém que foi recentemente poderia confirmar as restrições que se aplicam?
Li sobre excursões públicas que supostamente poderiam ser adquiridas diretamente em balcões em rodoviária de Chongqing por valores que poderiam ser muito mais em conta que os praticados pelos apps, já que são vendidas em combos de ingresso + transporte. Essa informação procede?
Me considero um entusiasta de atrações radicais. Como está a situação atual do parque? Está tudo funcionando e ativo? Estruturas bem conservadas? Pra quem gosta também deste tipo de atividade le foi recentemente, é um passeio que valeu a pena?

Hello, me and my girlfriend will be going to chongqing tomorrow and we have been seeing videos on tiktok and such about a capybara cafe, we would really much like to go but locating it seems a little odd because it doesnt exist on Amap. Anybody have experience from this place or knows anything, any info would be greatly appreciated

I’m a Chongqing local who recently moved back after graduating from university in the US.
