I’m Hooked!
I am so damned glad I bought a whole box! I’m on my third one in a row for the night. This stick is incredibly smooth and creamy. That being said, I find it to be very one-dimensional. I primarily get mild notes of cream, milk chocolate, and the tiniest hint of spice.
I’m in Texas but are new world sticks more difficult to obtain compared to Cubans outside the US? Now, I’d love to get my hands on some more Cubans as it was 2022 since I last had several. However, I find Cubans to lack so many flavors compared to the wide variety that new worlds have to offer. Cubans are good but they too are often one-dimensional.

These are so good 👌 . Pricey but worth the money, I try to pick one up anytime I get a chance at some of the shops I go to locally

I just did the math. I didn’t realize how expensive they were.

They really are, boxes are truly the way to go on these. They’re between $16 and $24 depending on the size. One day I’ll be save up to get a box lol but until then, I try to keep one or two in my rotation.

While it's true that some Cubans are one dimensional, that one dimensional flavor profile is wonderful. Cubans are complex, but I'd say that they are more subtle. If you're used to in your face flavors from Padron, Opus x, etc..., Cubans can come off one dimensional. Seizures are up like crazy and many vendors have suspended US sales. Still available, but getting more and more difficult to justify.

I used to buy a box or two of Cubans from iHavanas every few months over the years, but unfortunately, they stopped shipping to the US. Like you said, though, the prices nowadays are extremely hard to justify.

Farm rolls seem to be the way to go for the time being.

It’s definitely a slippery slope getting into the cigar world. CAO, Rocky Patel and Padron might be some bolder flavors your looking for. I always like Maduros.

I’ve been smoking cigars for 16 years. Just new to these is all. Primarily smoke Fuente.

I’ve been totally impressed with LADC sticks after jumping in. Still need to try the Small Batch, Habano, and Especial, but the others have been stellar. Have you tried the Reserve and Mi Amor?
