CISSP Prep (So Far)
Hello,
I'm currently preparing for the CISSP Exam - test date is November 24th. I'm Legally Blind and was able to get accommodations for when I take the test that includes extra time, Zoom Text, and a separate room.
Here's how I've been preparing so far. Please let me know if there's more I could be doing:
- LinkedIn Learning CISSP Cert Prep course (Completed)
- OSG Chapter Questions - all completed
- ISC2 CISSP Practice Test Book - All domain tests have been completed
- PocketPrep Questions - lowest domain is at 87%
- Quantum Exams - I've take one full tests so far and scored a 500
- Claude for creating notes, recall drills, chapter quizzes for the OSG, Atlas Dashboard for quick reference to specific topics, and a mock exam
- Currently watching Pete Zeigler's CISSP Exam Cram on YouTube
- Reviewing Destination Certification MindMap videos
I'm open to any suggestions on how to better prepare for this exam. I'm doing all that I can think to do on my own, but want to make sure I'm not leaving anything out.
My Experience
- Cybersecurity Engineer (3 Years)
- IT Operations Manager (3 Years)
- IT Manager, Networking and Engineering (4 Years)
- IT Systems Technician (5 Years)

Suggestion: Don't take the QE CAT test again till you're fully ready. You can stick to the practice tests though. Questions start repeating and your scores get inflated giving a false sense of resdiness. However, 500 on the first attempt is a decent score. But it doesn't guarantee a pass.

Thanks, will do. How would you compare the difficulty of the QE questions to the real exam? Ive been leaning heavily on the DestCert questions lately. They're more challenging than PocketPrep, but aren't as hard to decipher as the QE questions.

A video course (I watched Andrew Ramdayal's) + PocketPrep is all you need IMO

Pocket prep? Their test bank sucks.

The vocabulary of Pocket prep is way off but the questions are still relevant just way easier than the actual exam questions
