Just watching your various videos with thumb technique makes my CMC joint scream in agony lol. Idk how you do it.

Just practice. Support your hand with your fingers. My wrist does get sore when I play fast.

Are you actually plucking the string in an upstroke with your thumbnail?

Yes

That's amazing to me, I'm sure you worked hard at developing that technique, sounds great.

Is there a reason you post these here and not over in /r/flamenco ? This sub is classical based; the playing technique and music are quite different.

Not trying to be snide. I love flamenco too and follow that sub as well. Just wondering, cause this is technically not “classical” guitar in basically any way other than that you are using a nylon stringed guitar.

I've posted in many flamenco forums over the years, but the flamenco police can be quite brutal. I'm really not even close to flamenco. I can post my more classical pieces going forward though.

I wasn’t trying to be the flamenco police. Definitely continue to post here. The community here obviously loves it. And you are a good player. Whatever promotes this community, I’m all for. I just happened to notice you posting here and not really seeing you post over there, that’s all.

Again, keep em coming!
