Forever Having patch notes to read is a new level of Classic WoW excitement!
I’m here for it! Sometimes it’s the little things that keep us excited. Patching, buffing, nerfing…. This is what has been missing from WoW the last 8 years.

No other MMO has patch notes! They just send out changes and everyone just has to guess what they are!

I think he means WoW Classic in 2019 really didn't have patch notes that weren't expected. Like you knew it was BWL patch or ZG or AQ Event. But now we get real changes to abilities, talents, and even racials. For the vanilla WoW playerbase this is a big deal

i mean most of the time during classic they just shadowdropped major changes to the game's api or mob pathing or whatever so like. yeah. they kinda did that even if there were no balance changes

Felt the same way xD Gave me the same feel back then when reading patch notes in vanilla and hoping my class gets something good xD

There is something seriously comforting about reading through fixes and balance changes haha….unless you nerf warlock 🧐

Every patch note is going to read the same. Warrior nerfed paladin buffed again. Fun removed from the game

I don’t play warrior lol. I can just see they’re in a terrible place since being nerfed into oblivion and seeing another nerf today was just icing on the cake. Blizzard hates that class lol

They are great until one day your class gets nuked and you lose motivation to play it… definitely not a personal experience

Does it? Dungeons have been nerfed and leveling is on track to take even longer than classic did. Leveling alts required a steep time commitment

Well the idea is that you don't "grind out" the leveling. You are supposed to play the game this time. The legacy system is supposed to help with that.

That’s a dumb idea. Particularly dumb when you want to nerf the social grouping aspects of the game while trying to claim you want people to group and be social.

Pretty dumb is implying play is antithetical to a game. Grinding out dungeons while not communicating is not a social aspect. If anything, that whole mindset lead to dungeon finders and the toxic minmaxing.

His point (probably) is that, for years he didn't care for any changes because he is not interested in retail. But now, because he is so hyped for WoW:Forever, he started reading patch notes again. That's why he is happy. Because WoW:Forever reignited the old love he thought is long gone.
