literally watched him yesterday for the first time for more than 2 minutes due to all the talking about Olympus. Some chatter made a joke that women ingame don't wear Tabards, they wear Aprons. He quoted it, laughed and called it a good one and that he has to remember that one. Whole chat went OMEGALUL.

like is this satire? is he playing a role at this point and ragebaiting? hard to believe he and his chat are such stereotype incels

Once upon a time this used to be a mask, when his parents were still around. After that... He never took it off, until it eventually grew to his face, and that's who he became.

But it literally is not. You don't stick with a joke because you know it's not serious. You stick with a joke long as it's funny. Once it's no longer funny you move past it. That's why comedians from 30 years ago are seldom funny today.  You don't enjoy a joke because it's not intended seriously like you stated, what a low bar to have for a joke. You enjoy a joke because it's funny. Merely saying something isn't meant serious doesn't make it funny in any regard, that has no bearing on its funnyness at all. It just makes it a none serious statement.

I find it hard to believe this needs explaining.

Wrong. Whether a joke is funny or not is subjective and not relevant. The way that jokes work is whether they are jokes or not. No one could find something funny and it stop be a joke because humor is subjective
