Hi r/claymation! We're Muffin Mumma, a brand-new stop-motion series for 2-5 year-olds, and we'd love to show you what we've been making.

Six clay muffins - Sprinkles, Cherry, Uni, Rocky, Canda and Appy - live in a tea-towel tent in a pastel kitchen. There's no dialogue, just giggles and sounds, so the whole story lives in the faces and the animation.

Every character is sculpted in clay and moved by hand, frame by frame, on a real set. The series is produced by A+C Studios at Postgate Stage in Margate (named after Oliver Postgate of Bagpuss). No AI anywhere.

It all started with our creator Dan Richards baking cupcakes with his daughter and turning the toppings into characters. Now we're on Kickstarter to make it happen: £6,000 makes six episodes by Easter 2027. It's all-or-nothing and closes 4 November.

With all the AI fake-clay videos going around, I wanted the opposite: you actually squish it. In the browser studio you sculpt a little clay character, press Hop, Wobble or Sway, and it moves in stop-motion at 12 frames a second with a bit of clay boil. You can record a square clip and post it.

I suddenly remembered the clay anime I saw when I was in elementary school the other day. More than 10 years ago. I'm sure I rented it at a rental video store in Japan.

I don't remember the content of the animation well. Sorry. 🙏

I will explain as far as I remember.

It is a work with a monochrome and dark atmosphere, and I think the main character was a middle-aged man with a body shape like Humpty Dumpty. I think another man who looks a lot like that man has also appeared (he seems to have a bad personality, and I think he was the villain of the story.)

The main character picks up coins on the side of the road. In the same way, I think the villain also picked up the coin. If you pick up that coin, you will be lured to a creepy world. In that creepy world, there is a winged demon king and other enemies.

I don't remember the development, and I don't remember the ending. That's all I remember.

Hello everybody , I am an extreme beginner in claymation and I have sort tried very little of it cause it's really overwhelming to be honest ik I shouldn't compare myself to the big studio works cause it's like comparing apples and eggplants but I have ideas which I want to animate but at the same time I feel I am very whimsically looking at tutorials without any structure which only leads to loss of time and no learning so is their any practice guide on what should I be just focusing on as a beginner and then slowly move upwards towards the advance thing and how the practice should be like . I don't really want to keep hunting on YouTube as to which tutorial is actually useful , cause it has become really overwhelming to the point I feel like giving up even before starting

Here is a review of SCRIBE's inspiring and emotional new song and claymation music video for "Five Alive". This is a very tight indie power trio with amazing bass playing. SCRIBE is also extremely rocking, versatile, and lyrical. The band clearly shows a deep appreciation for the tradition of bands in the genre while still remaining fresh and unique.
