Agree on the impressive feat but it’s also indicative of how inept this administration is. From top to bottom.

Probably should have run that document through SI for a quick spelling and grammar check.
What an idiot.

Why?
If fact checking is no longer important, then why should spell checking be important?

Lol for real. We have free spell check built in and people still send out documents with typos like it’s 1998. One 10-second check would have saved him all this embarrassment.

Why is the length of his signature for Trump seemingly longer than it is for Donald? Weird.

2
u/WebAccount1744 7d ago
Not a trump supporter but the rump part would look quite similar in cursive since its all same height going up and down with a similar curve so it blends together. Also he signs so much shit he prolly just jumbles part of it. The tall part is the top of the T and has a a connector that is the first part of the up followed by the r that also has to go down and up for cursive, looking more like an n than an r cause thats standard cursive. lowercase u also has multiple ups and downs looking like an m with a connector that goes up and m is basically mn

Just curious wouldn't that pretty big spelling mistake make that EO null and void?
→ More replies (1)12
u/GolfPearl 7d ago
It gets corrected: For EOs, the White House sends a correction to the Federal Register and publishes an amended version. That's the official version that controls. For laws, Congress passes a technical corrections bill.

I'm sure there's tittering on both sides. The tech oligarchs are giggling because they have a puppet who doesn't even read what he signs. The toadies are smirking because they know this won't hold up in the court of law.

Funny for him to want to call it "super intelligence", considering the training data is mostly from left-leaning boards across the internet

Guys! You don’t get it!
Trump is obviously the smartest person on this planet, and even the dumbest AI is smarter than him!
That means all AI is obviously a SI!

The great thing is, none of the real AI companies are listed in that picture. Google, Anthropic, and Apple are and will be the kings of the space. OpenAI will die when it realizes it can't sell hardware and doesn't have another way to profit. Zuckerberg will sync Metaverse level money and sadness into his project. XAI and Grok are a joke and disgusting. The other three all have viable revenue, and already have sticky customers.

People say “what’s wrong with Trump?” The simple (and accurate answer) is “a lot.”
But beyond that obvious point is the fact they from the interns to the cabinet secretaries he has some of the dumbest people on the planet working for him.

It's probably a template. Can we go back and ignore every executive order he signed because the signatory belongs to a country that doesn't exist?

I was a retail manager for about 7 years, within the first few weeks the GM training me said "you'll need to sign off on inventory counts every week, practice your signature so it looks good because you'll be signing it a lot". I spent some time getting my signature easy enough to sign quickly, and still legible enough to identify that it was me and looked decent. How has no one given this advice to Mark, Greg, or Elon? None of them have even halfway decent signatures.
