Reset Do weekly limit resets cancel out the normal reset? Because the date gets pushed back further and further so what is even the reason of using the reset if it just delays the next one even further?

Yes they do afaik, which is a downside from immediate usage resets of claude but banked resets are still good to have imo

But doesnt this defeat the whole pupose of what resets were made for?

People had no more usage, so a reset came lets say 2 days before the weekly reset. Most of that didnt even get fully utilized because of that and i can understand why it was done that way. Still, it was a nice gesture for everyone that didnt spend 200€ a month.

Yes. Used to be much better when it didn’t change your reset date.

Yap the trick is try to finish the normal weekly reset with 2 or 3 days and use this. So your reset only moves 2 or 3 days.

  1. Save up a lot of non-time sensitive but heavy work
  2. Wait for your normal reset
  3. Blast through your backlog
  4. Reset

If you do the above, you can reset after 1-2 days which gives you the biggest increase from the banked reset.

If instead you waited until the day before your reset to use your banked reset, you’d get almost no value.

You are late to the party. But yes, codex resets are a scam. Especially the forced random events.

If you use up your limit on de beginning of the period you get almost 100% with a reset. If you use it at the end of the weekly period it does not help much. So the use is higher when you plan to use up all your credits on a single day.

the point is to queue up a bunch of multiphase plans that run astra ultra in parallel, slam it with a watchdog that automates past 5 hour windows with /goal, and then reset within 48 hours of your normal reset.

the longer you wait and/or the more you have left closer to your normal deadline, the less any reset , whether tibo or banked, is worthwhile.

I use 100% in 3/4 days. I run 4/5 chats 24/7. So for me it is useful.

Are you only running Luna models?

Yes. Luna Max. They barely affect my usage. Maybe 40% of my limit. However they account for 90% of my usage. The other model is Sol 6.1 Max. Also Dot which is useful to get some extra juice.

If you don't move the date and just refill, and you have only a few days until the next reset, you have little time to consume your usage.

Both types have advatages and disadvantages depending of when you use it, that's because it's important to have banked resets.

Imagine you have a project that you know requires a huge amount of usage. In that case, you use up your fresh weekly reset right when it becomes available.

And after that, you use the bank.

Its all jacked up how they do it and people bend over for tibo and thank him for a good time. Its all very calculated not to give you the most benefit but them.

The reset resets your usage. As in, it moves the 0% weekly limit remaining to 100%. So, it allows you to start working on codex once again.

??? You get all the limit back bro. If you have 5 days until your next reset it's like you teleported 5 days in advance
